PADI A.I – Assistant Instructor Course

Professional Philosophy

Are you a Divemaster, thinking of becoming an Instructor but not sure? Then why not try the Instructor experience and become a Assistant Instuctor.

The Instructor Development Course is split into two section’s, the Assistant Instructor Course is the first part and the Open Water Scuba Instructor is the second part. You can either do these two course’s seperatly or together as a full Instructor Development Course. Doing the Assistant Instructor Course will give you an insight to the duties and responsibilities of an Instructor before becoming an Open Water Scuba Instructor. As a Assistant Instructor you will be able to present the knowledge development elaboration for any PADI Diver course under the direct supervision of an Instructor. You will be able to present skills training under the direct supervision of the Instructor during confined water dives. Conduct open water surface skill evaluations during Open Water Diver course dives, indirectly supervised. Teach and certify Peak Performance Bouyancy Speciality Divers under the instructor’s indirect supervision. Independantly teach AWARE Coral Conservation and Project AWARE specialty courses. You will beable to independently conduct Discover Scuba Diving in a pool or confined water aswell as conduct PADI Seal Team Aquamission’s.
