Go diving with Scuba Scene

At Scuba Scene we love talking about diving, but most of all we love getting in the water and going for a dive!!! We are a very active dive centre, with activites going on most weeks of the year. From diving in purpose built in-land dive sites, to exploring the English coast line from the shore or by boat, we are always out diving.

TRAINING DIVE SITES

Vobster Quay a freshwater quarry acts as a great dive site all year round offering a fabulous array of attractions. Divers can explore a commercial aircraft, a 42ft motorcruiser, and much more.

Babbacombe, Torquay offers an easy shallow water entry from the beach, offering calm conditions in our summer months, perfect for entry level dive training. Below the surface divers can find the facinating cuttlefish that surround the shores of Babbacombe aswell as the ocasional Grey Seal.

LOCAL DIVE TRIPS

LundyLundy is a marine nature reserve providing spectacular dive sites. The scenery below the waves offers dramatic rock pinnicles, gullies, caves and boulder slopes and plains of sand. This environment makes the perfect home for the Grey Seal which is the main attraction on Lundy. Occasionally divers will see Basking Sharks and Sunfish that cruise around the island.
PlymouthOur Plymouth trip is perfect for the keen wreck diver! At Plymouth you have plenty of options to choose from including the Scylla, Persia, James Egan Layne, Elk and many more. Plymouth is the gateway to some of the South West’s best wrecks.
Lyme BayLyme Bay is another great location for wreck diving, popular and well known wrecks that we visit include HMS M2, Salsette, The express of India, Landrail, Moidart and the Baygitano. There are a number of interesting second dive sites including scallop grounds, reefs and ledges. Highlights include sunset corals.
